Turn HTML or Markdown into a PDF
Paste or import HTML or Markdown and PDFLoom lays it out the way a browser would, then writes a paginated PDF with real, selectable text. It runs on your device, so your content is never uploaded.
HTML to PDF with real layout
Tables, flexbox and columns, borders and backgrounds, colours, fonts, lists, links and images come out as they look on screen, across as many pages as needed. Use page-break-before to start a new page.
Markdown to PDF
Headings, emphasis, nested lists, tables, code blocks, quotes, links and images, with a clean default style.
Private by construction
The page is rendered in a sandbox with no scripts and no network access, so converting a file can never phone home. Images need to be embedded as data: URLs to appear.
Letter or A4
Choose the page size. The text stays selectable and searchable, and links stay clickable.
Good to know
The PDF uses standard fonts (Arial, Times and Courier equivalents), so unusual web fonts are replaced and characters such as emoji or CJK scripts may show as a question mark. Gradients and shadows are not drawn.
